Only negative, I never got a mug as they ran out which was a little disappointing

Special shoutout to the female marshall at the first junction (when you're running down the hill with people crossing from the left with a few km to go) and the guy at the top of the back hill all in yellow high vis, I don't know how they kept their energy up for the whole 6 hours. Having a water station at the other corner of the house a few km into the route was a good idea. Overall a great exprience.
The feedback from my 2 supporters is that having food available at the coffee trailer (bacon rolls)/burger van etc would have been ideal.

I heard that this year’s distance did cause a little anxiety in terms of not reaching ultra distance and I remained focused for the entire event. I know you can’t please all of the people all of the time and I probably would prefer 7 hours but not just to sit for longer at my tent. It is winter and the weather can be unpredictable.

It was great having Ascent Physio as part of the team as had a niggle that Kenny Cross was able to resolve to let me keep running.

The undulating route was great with a mix of trail, paths and hard packed forest paths. Great community with fellow runners and the event team.

The only slightly negative was the queue for the toilets at the start. I felt I joined the queue in plenty of time, however it was pretty long and I just managed to go before the race started. However, I totally get that you wouldn't want too many as once the race starts, it wouldn't be an issue.

I had a fantastic time and a huge thanks to the RD and first aider for checking in on me after I fell. Only disappointment was that you ran out of mugs!

Only negative is on the last hour when the small loop opened. After completing 7 large loops together I chose to do an 8th harder big loop while the girl beside me decided to go on the small easy loop and she ended up getting a higher position than me. Yes she ran further but on an easier course. If only the results reflected on how many large loops were completed for example like me 8 large and 2 small would beat 7 and 9

I found the change over between the large lap and small loop a wee bit confusing re the start/ finish mat and not sure I did the right thing - although my reported was same as my garmin so not affected anyway

Perhaps make it 7 hour event, tired old lady struggled to get over marathon distance to get my ultra!!!

6 hours was perfect with a great start time. Plenty of parking. Would 100% recommend.

The only issue I have, is, i didnt get a mug. When I asked, I was told there were only a limited supply. Surely there should have been one for each runner?

The marshals were out of this world. I kept going for 6 hours because of their support. Well done.

The only thing i would say about the event is to advertise on only one platform , it was a bit confusing seeing the event on 2 platform
